I'm Corbett. I design and print everything here myself.

I'm an Electrical Engineering Technology student, and LifeformZ started as a way to fund school doing something I actually enjoy. Every model is drawn from scratch in FreeCAD, printed on Bambu Lab machines a few feet from where I'm typing this, and packed by me.

There is no warehouse and nothing sitting on a shelf. When you order, I print it. That's why it takes a few days, and it's also why you can pick your own colours, trim and symbol without any of it costing extra to set up. A big shop can't do that. I can, because it's just me.

Long term this is more than deck boxes. I'm building toward electronics too, things that make a desk or a table better. The deck boxes are simply what people wanted first!

Some of the first things I ever sold were commissions. If you have an idea for a box, a tray, a display piece or something else entirely, send me a rough description and any reference images you have.

Commissions start at $10 above the equivalent item here and go up from there depending on how much design work it takes. I'll quote you before anything gets made, and you're under no obligation once you have the number.

The only hard limits are size, since I'm bound by my print bed, and I don't make anything intended to hold food.

Everything is made to order, so give me 3 to 5 business days to print and pack before it ships.

Because everything is made to order in the colours you chose, I don't take returns. I do take exchanges.

If your box arrives damaged, warped, or not the way you designed it, send me a photo and I'll make you a new one. That one's on me.

These are printed in PLA, a plant-based plastic. It's tough, it holds fine detail, and it will last years indoors. There's one thing it doesn't like, and that's heat.

PLA softens around 55 to 60°C. A parked car on a sunny day passes that easily. A box left in one can warp, and once it warps it doesn't come back.

• Not in a parked car in summer
• Out of long direct sunlight and off hot windowsills
• Clear of radiators and heat vents
• Room temperature is fine, including a Winnipeg winter

Clean it with a damp cloth and a little dish soap. No dishwasher, no solvents, and skip isopropyl on the silk finishes since it dulls the sheen.

The N35 magnets are strong for their size. They won't touch your cards, but keep the box clear of anything with a magnetic stripe, like a hotel key card.
