The direction
The long goal is a workshop run by one person and a set of machines built for it. Not humanoid robots — task-specific tools that each do one job properly.
The first target is the least interesting job in the shop: taking a finished print off the plate so the next one can start.
It is being worked out in simulation before anything is built, which is the honest order to do it in.
Do the job by hand, write down how, automate the parts that repeat, build a fixture, and only then build a machine.
Skipping to the machine is how you end up with something that does the wrong job very reliably.
I am in my second year of Electrical Engineering Technology at Red River College Polytechnic. The coursework and the bench feed each other, and what comes off the bench ends up on this site.
